DIMITRI KANAVAS B.A., LL.B, LL.M
Lawyer & Founder
Dimitri Kanavas is the principle lawyer and founder of Kanavas Law Professional Corporation.
Mr. Kanavas operates a general law practice; and has prior experience in corporate and securities law matters and has acquired civil litigation experience having worked on a variety of litigation files.
Mr. Kanavas although licensed in Ontario, has studied law both in Canada, the US and abroad and has substantial knowledge of law in other common law jurisdictions. After completing his law degree, Dimitri went on to complete his LL.M (Masters of Laws) graduating Cum Laude with a focus in Securities and Corporate law in the United States. He has further developed corporate and securities experience working with the In-house legal team at one of Canada's largest publicly traded oil & gas companies, and has also gone on to assist smaller private corporations establish themselves, and provide them with corporate and regulatory counsel.
In 2020, he received the Gold Winner Prize of Toronto Star's Readers Choice Award for Best Real Estate Lawyers in Toronto.
Mr. Kanavas is committed to serving his clients and the community in his capacity as a lawyer, and advocating on their behalf to achieve his clients' desired outcome with the highest standard of care. When not practicing law, Mr. Kanavas enjoys travelling, photography, playing soccer and various sports, reading and spending time with family.
